PIPPA ANDERSON
Director
Pippa Anderson is a freelance voice coach based in the Tees Valley area in the north east of England. She began her studies at Dartington College of Arts, she trained on ‘The Knack’ at English National Opera’s Baylis Programme, after completing this course Pippa studied on a postgraduate and professional acting course at The Academy Drama School, London. Pippa has a Cert Ed from Teesside University and has just completed a Post Graduate Certificate (Vocal Pedagogy) with Distinction, this course was delivered by Voice Workshop. Currently, Pippa works as Performance Coach and Singing Teacher at Newcastle University, a Consultant Teacher of Spoken Voice at SLP College in Leeds. She works with artists, actors and theatre companies, she facilitates workshops and masterclasses for the speaking and singing voice and has a busy private practice which she runs from home. Pippa has a special interest voice science, vocal health, working with people who want to overcome vocal problems and voice users who suffer from performance anxiety. HANNAH TAYLOR
Director
Hannah is an experienced and passionate vocalist and vocal educator based in North Tyneside. Hannah, a Yorkshire lass at heart, trained in the North East as a vocalist gaining a first class BMus honours in Jazz, Popular and Commercial Music and has worked extensively as a performer and music educator across the region for over a decade. Hannah is a qualified teacher, completing a PGCE at Durham University in 2009, furthermore she completed her MA with Distinction in Music Management in 2014. As an educator, Hannah has lectured at Newcastle College, Gateshead College and Sage Gateshead where she is currently a CCM specialist on the Centre for Advanced Training Programme and Programme Leader for level 3 music. As a performer Hannah manages and performs the Shoeshop Quartet and performs with numerous commercial function bands as lead or backing vocalist. She has a passion for continued learning in vocal technique and pedagogy and has a keen interest in vocal anatomy. To find out a little more about her background and training, visit her website:
